Occupational Therapy

Occupational Therapy, inclusive of Activities, is an important component of our health and care programme for our clients. We are committed to providing all residents with a quality of life which enhances their mental, physical and emotional wellbeing.

Caughey Preston employs its own permanent Occupational Therapy team of 9 Activities Coordinators, 1 registered Occupational Therapist and a Driver. Our activities programme is provided 7 days a week for all hospital, rest home and special care clients. With over 90 sessions provided each week across the site, including bus trips out into the community, we are proud to provide one of the best activities programmes anywhere in the Auckland region.
