Hospital Care
At Caughey Preston we have the ability to support a total of 113 Hospital level residents. 78 of those reside in our main hospital unit on Ventnor Road. We also provide hospital care in Ventnor Home on Ventnor Road and in Upland Home on Upland Road.
Residents and their families take comfort in the knowledge that they have the support of qualified clinical staff 24 hours a day. Our staffing levels for Hospital residents reflect the high levels of care required. Overall, for our Hospital services we provide combined care and nursing staff at a ratio of 7 clients per staff member.
Residents are provided with a Care Team comprising of doctors, nurses, physiotherapists and occupational therapists supported by the Human Services Coordinator, Nurse Manager, Dietician and Pharmacist.
