AUT Occupational Therapy Students
Each year Caughey Preston offers fieldwork placements for students studying the Bachelor of Health Science (OT) at the Auckland University of Technology. Students gain a working knowledge of how people’s participation in everyday activities contributes to their health and wellbeing.
Four 2nd year students have participated in a five week placement at Caughey Preston in 2007
and successfully completed their work programme.
Caughey Preston is proud to be able to provide this support through it's association wtih AUT.
On completing the placement one student commented:
“My learning opportunities have been great and I am going to take away with me some valuable experience for my future and I think age care is an area that I could, and would, like to work in some day”
